OUR CONTESTS ARE DIVIDED BY CATEGORIES AND AGE.
POETRY: open to all ages... Poetry must be original work and no longer than 150 words. Can be sent
in on the form below. or emailed to marbme12@ yahoo.com Please supply your name, age, address and email or phone number.
Include the "title of your work." All entries must be in within 5 days of the last day of the month. Prizes will be awarded
the first week of the next month in all categories. Entry fees are $7 per poem or work. Up to three works can be submitted
in each category for the month.
LITERARY WORKS: short story submissions must be no longer than 10 pages and must be submitted by mail or email. You
may enter news related, human interest stories, educational, documentary, or history. Fiction, Science Fiction,
Non-Fiction, biographical are also accepted. Email submissions to: marbme12@yahoo.com. All subjects are exceptable except for pornographic. Pictures may be included. OPEN TO ALL AGE CATEGORIES.
ART: OPEN TO ALL AGE CATEGORIES. YOU WILL COMPETE WITH YOUR AGE GROUP.
all work must be original, not traced or otherwise duplicated. Can be in color or black and white. All
mediums allowed including sculpture. Please submit a picture of your scuplture. Submit a picture of your art work.
We may call and ask to view the orignal in person by appointment if there is a tie breaker. We may ask to keep a photo
copy of your work for publication in our newsletter or upcoming art book. all copyrights still belong to you...we will
get your permission in writing before publishing.
Please supply your name, address, age, phone and email with all works submitted. You may enter up to three times
for each month for each category. All cash prizes and trophies, and ribbons will be awarded for top winners.
Ribbons and/or trophies for all honorable mentions.
Upon your winning entry, you will automatically be entered in the county and state competitions, then
on to National competiton upon winning these. Prize values increase with winnings. All entry fees must be paid
up front before entries will be accepted. Local competitons for Poetry are $7, Art: $10, and Literary $12, We
have independent Judges. We do not discriminate in any form or fashion.
